Just out at Classics at the Clubhouse 'aircooled addition'. Only 15 minutes from home, no problem getting here. Parked up with a few 500 mates then went to move the position of the car. Pulled starter lever: a couple of seconds of cranking, then it stopped and the lever went floppy
I took the centre console off and undid the bolt holding the lever plate in place but it only moves a bit since the choke cable, at least, is still connected. Phone torch didn't let me see anything useful.
I should be able to get someone to push start me to get home but has anyone any tips on how to check properly and, if necessary, replace the cable?
