Per title - I'm in the process of making a split engine lid from 2 old lids, with the top part hinged at the top, so the lock hole will be redundant.
I want to keep the old complete lid to be able to swap back if necessary. I could transfer the old lock but I would prefer to have a separate one that I can put on without the catch...
Or I could just cover it with a badge or something I think it might be nice to have it looking more stock when closed if possible... so,
anyone got one spare, even one that's not working, that I could use to fill the hole? New ones are a bit pricey just to fill a hole
