General how to change clutch cable

Under the bonnet remove the nut from the end of the cable holding it onto the clutch arm.
Remove the 2No 10mm nuts hold the cable plate to the rear bulkhead.
Remove passenger seat (4 bolts) not necessary but makes the job a whole lot easier.
Lie on back in passenger footwell and remove the black cover (3 crosshead screws).
Remove split pin from end of cable.
Remove cable from engine bay side..

In true Haynes fashion, Refitting is the reverse sequence to removal.

Should take half an hour ish.

ha ha yeah i chose the hard way and put the back of the drivers seat down and ended up getting stuck under the steering wheel undoing the cable from the pedle

lol why were you under the driver seat doing the clutch cable :p?

Is just a spilt pin you need to take off at the passenger side, then the hook will just come undo.
