its a mint example, problem is its been modified, and to your exact tastes. By personalising it you have limited your markit.
In short, no I wouldn't pay 2k for it, now then you can pick up a stilo, fiat coupe 20vt, bravo HGT, mr2 turbo, and a load of other cars for that price now.

Sorry mate but the short answer is no. I'd sell it for £2k but wouldn't pay that for it I'm afraid. In much the same way that no-one would every really pay me what I'd accept for Shabash!.

Well, except maybe Tommy. :)

Yup.... I'd be straight round to bung £2k in Oz's hand should he even mutter the word Scrappage Scheme!!!!

But thats just to save a very very good standard HGT mk2 bravo.

Shaun, your car is lovely and a credit to your dedication and skills BUT as a bravo it's worth who ever else falls in love with it.

But dont sell it...... just enjoy driving it and showing it off... and that is priceless!!!

id say its probably worth £1000, if your lucky, no one wants fiat bravo 2.0's tbh, people after a fiat bravo want 1.2's.

people after 2.0's want subaru imprezas etc lol

£2k? Definitely not.

Thats not to put down your time and effort into the motor, but realistically given economic conditions, age of the car and the car market, very few people would pay anywhere near £2k for a Bravo irrespective of what it is.

It's a shame but sadly thats how its ended up.

I've been watching the prices of the Coupe LE's and late reg coops (circa X reg) and they are coming down fast, so its not limited to the Bravo market.

Well ravo... I feel you've failed to identify the engine correctly in this car!

I'll give you a clue... it's a 4 cylinder and they didnt' fit a 2.0l 4 cylinder in a bravo ;)

Oh and you bought a 2.0l Bravo..... in fact you bought 2!!!!

So people do buy Bravo's cos.... they want a bravo irrespective of the engine size.

Hey, some people even buy 2 or 3 and let them grow in the garden too ;)

Shaun, you could probably get 1300 for it, but thats a case of the right buyer looking at the right time.

The price for Bravos is depressing if your selling, trust me I know this one all too well at the moment!

Re the engine size thing, its not just the overall performance 9 of a car I go for, having had a 1.2 and 2 HGT's... the HGT's have a presence and, although they arent the fastest cars I've owned they have been the most memorable and entertaining, and I can hand on heart say its because of that 5 pot... even the old bill have let me off based on how it sounded (granted they had pulled me for excessive noise... I just had to prove I could drive at something other than full throttle)

Andy_sx (will accept donations to get my HGT back on the road ;))

well annon at £450 I don't think you'd be buying this car BUT everyone is entitled to their say.... I guess your not a fan of this car ;)

I think you've hit the nail on the head with the 5pot.

You can get a JTD to be as quick and do double the MPG BUT given the choice you'd take the HGT every day regardless!!!

Hiya sean, i sold mine a few month ago, 2.0 HGT, i also had put alot of time and effort into it as have u, i snapped some guys arm off when he offered me 850 for it, as i had been watching the prices of bravos fall and fall.

I would surgest to u that after all your hard work u should keep it and enjoy it for as long as u can.

The only reason i sold mine was because i have just bought an impreza turbo, I loved my bravo but after owning 3 HGTs i thought it was time for a change and i have never been a big fan of the coupe.

greg that guy lives near me, that bought ur bravo, ripped both skirts off and bumpers knakered to ****.

and read the message guys, im not selling, im guna hold this baby out till she is all done and finished uni.

but if i was to sell her after uni ill put her up for £1000 so watch this space in a few years.

thanks guys i just thought id ask seeing as a guy at work offered me £2000 for her last week lol

Take his £2k now!!!

then go buy summit cheap with 2 seats for uni (2 seats so ur not a taxi)

right now your car is worth the most it will ever be, so if the money is important sell it sooner rather than later.

money is not important one bit so there is noway im guna accept his 2grand i love the car too much and no amount is worth it. My seats dont tilt forward anyway so i cant play taxi anyway

i didnt see the pics before, just presumed it would be a hgt :p

even so, a 1.6 bravo aint worth any more than 1k.
