how much abuse do u get for owning a modded car?

just wondering...

i was driving along(not fast too much traffic!) with no music blaring(system not in yet) and a bloke shouted 'ur cars **** bitch', also my boyf parked up and we went 4 a meal and came back and someone had written in black marker '****' on his car.
nice people!

anyone else get abuse....?

Well thats just a bit sad (neds we call them in Scotland). I must admit though I prefer standard cars these days. Tend to think modded ones look a bit cheap. I think things like suspension, exhausts, induction kits, manufacturer alloys are cool but rarely see a body kit or after market wheels that improve a cars over all look. If a car were to look better with a huge plastic thing stuck to its boot then the manufacturers would have designed them that way.

exactly everyone has their own opinions which is fine but its very small minded when people rant on at you for wanting to change the look of ur car.

I'm sure the nice chap who so lovingly dawbed the car in black marker would really appreciate having the same thing done to his car.

Saddened to hear that Hels. Cant say i'm in the "fan of mods" camp but still think this sort of behaviour is deplorable.

Bet his missus gives him a right kicking when he draws his crayon cartoons on the walls at home.

I would put it down to either them been jealous or just been very nasty ill brought up persons. Calling a girl a bitch is nasty full stop but one that you don't even know and have never met for the sake of it just sounds like they are mannerles scum to me!

Whenever I go any where in the bravo I only get complements and positives. I've not had any derogatory remarks or complements .......yet

With exception to that arse that used to use the site called Dug i think the car has been pretty well received

my car needs a new spray job thanks to some dipshit keying the whole car even my roof this was friday and last night i got a load of abuse from some young ladies because of my window tints. although they were quite amusing but the naughty boy who tickled my paint work with his keys needs a good slap. maybe ill get some of that flippy paint stuff anyone know how much and where you can get it from ? thanks
