very much doubt it now with the broken gearbox! also looks like i might have to work that weekend aswell. oh joylets see what happens, might have to let you know last minuite mate.

cars in the garage on monday, and if they do it on warranty from the last time they recon i should be able to get it for thursday to friday latest. in the mean time im stuck with a horrible to drive 2 litre Mondy! but work are payin the insurance n go go juice!

bloddy show season is a bad omen for my car. twice in 2 years!

Providing the weathers nice (fair weather fan i know!) me and a mate will be comming. Im in Hatfield, so you will drive straight past me Ozric! J4 and 3 of A1M. Ill probably park up and wait to see the convoy then catch you up, theres not really anywhere convienient to meet you...

All going well i will have my car back to! Poxy Astra sport is POO!

@ Ben - Bugger! I was going to come down the A1 but if we do there is nowhere convenient to meet up with the M6/M1 convoy mate. Fancy coming up to Baldock just for the trip TO Brooklands? Obviously wouldn't on the way back but the convoys can be a good giggle.

BTW, for all those wanting to meet up at Baldock can you please send me your mobile phone numbers to [email protected] so we can keep in touch if people are running late? Will send mine by return.

Think the best thing to do is to try and estimate when the convoy will get on to the M25 off the M1 and i will try and be there around the same time. Its only 15 miles from me, if i go to Baldock its looking like another 30 odd miles on top of that! If you or someones passenger gives me a bell when you expect to be on the M25 then i can catch-up/slow to find you.

OK mate. Other option for you is that if you still have the Astra meet me at Baldock and you can get a lift in mine. They'll (quite rightly) park you in the cheap seats at Brooklands if you turn up in a Vauxhall.

Yup, just inside the M25 just off the A3. Hard to miss as there are LOTS of signs and the odd Italian car stopped by the side of the road.
