How long would YOU wait?

I was going up a steep hill tonight, and at the top its a T junction with traffic lights. The car in front of me was displaying L plates, and so I left a very large space behind. After sitting there through THREE complete sets of light changes and watching this guy stall it, time after time, I finally crossed over the white line and went around him,lol

How long would you have waited?

Well, actually my whole family were good at rolling fags.................

I sat quiet while Dad was driving, rolling a fag while his knees held the wheel steady, an old truckdriver's trick, he said. Mum yells at him when he does it, but I think it's cool.

Yeah, my mate's Dad used to do it....I tried once, but I only have short, stumpy legs

I think i would have waited about the same time, well enough to light a fag and calm down a bit, we were all learners once

Definatly a habit i gotta get away from, not very clever driving with my knees...

i find puttin my elbows in the cross bar of the steering wheel works well,
it keeps the runs down the M3 interesting!

When I was in the army in Germany, we used to see Turkish lorry drivers and they used used to weigh the accelerator peddle down with a house brick, and then sit on the seat with their legs folded under them,lol we used to call them "the flying carpets"

Similar thing happened to me today!!

Driving in on my way to work and got caught at some traffic lights, however they stayed red for a couple of mins without any traffic/pedestrians crossing.

Left a little while, (longer than most I would say)and went through and everyone followed lol!!Like a load of sheep!
Good job there weren't any police around!!
