Under bonnet paint

Hi emma,

The parts youve painted under your bonnet.
Like the bat cover and plug cover.

Did u use just normal car paint. Can it withstand the high temps??

i just used normal spray paint and plastic primer paint 1st. the engine cover is cover underneath with heatproofing anyway and the bat cover and fuse box dont get much heat to em either

Thanks for your help emma,

I dont think its gonna work for me on my hlx coz the plugcover is not heatproofed and is just alu and gets bloody hot.

I could use high temperature paint but it will leave brush marks and i dont want that

Here's an idea what if i use hammerright smooth from a spray can ???? But can this withstand the temp??

why not!!!!

why not nip down ya scrappers and get some heatproofing or soundproofing of the underside of a bonnet of a scrap car
superglue it on then just use normal paint afterwards
have fun
