i`ve noticed on here that you can do slanted letterin,(to qoute somethin) and even make the letters bigger how on earth do you do that and also how do you do the winking smileys, i have seen how to do these things before somewhere, not sure where though

It's basic HTML.
You put tags either side of the text you want to affect, for example...
Italics. Put
in front and (without the spaces between the i and > and you get this .
Replace the I with a B for
bold
Use a U for
underline
Use S for strikethrough
Use < FONT SIZE=5> & for font size (minus the spaces again)
Use < FONT COLOR=RED> & for font colour (minus the spaces again)
You can also embed links in the text.
FIATBOO replacing the asterix's with the letter a to get
