shame its a sport because thats the only situation in which you cant be easily sure. all FR's are 130, all cupras are 160, all SE, SX, S, DAB & sportrider are 100bhp, but a sport can be 100 or 130.

if you cant feel the difference between 10.5secs and 9sec 0-60 then you can always call any seat dealer and give them the reg or VIN to check the output.

Thanks jug yeah its almost impossible to tell. Ive found an fr which I can afford but going on parkers I found that its a lower spec than a sport ie no air conditioning etc. Which is annoying as I like the look of the FR's more

yeah but the stylance has climate control (which is air con with automatic temp control), and the cupra is the same as stylance with no losses meaning it has climate control, and the FR is same as the cupra with no losses meaning it also has climate control.

climate control is better than air con, its automatic air con.

Wow didn;t realise you could pick them up that cheap now

A mate had one fo the PD130's as they were called at the time, was pretty impressed by it but not by the 1k sat nav that was crap, you couldn;t listen to a CD whilst using it

He had his remapped as well by some guy in bristol with a laptop and that soon had it showing my Uno up in a straightline (n)

The only downside is that his interior didn;t seem to wear well especially the steering wheel..

Anyway, enough diesel talk get the 1.8T it makes sense ;)

Hands off :p
Thanks for the info jamie. Yeah I really dont want to buy a diesel, but me living in Marlow and my work at silverstone race track being 50 miles away, thats 100 miles a day, and thats unfair on my hgt and my wallet. So Ive been on the hunt for a fast diesel which returns a good mpg, and the Ibiza tdi sport ticks all the boxes, it has more torque than a Merc 320 slk!!! plus with a remap it will be another car that makes me smile, as my hgt does now.
Im not looking forward to the day when my hgt will be taken away from me

The thing is with diesels they only achieve these super higher MPG's when driven at constant speeds for long distances but for acorss country with overtaking and lots of gear changes they aren't gonna be that great..

I'd still have a petrol car unless i was drving motorways all day everyday

Anyway happy hunting (y)

haha yeah your not wrong :p Plus this morning the classic car garage next door had its 1960's whatever mustang out and its reved soot all over the front of my car (n) but the up side is there are about 20 F430s outside as well :D
