Re: Re: How Can I Lock The Doors With The Windows/Sunroof Open Without The Alarm Going Off........

There are pressure sensors in the interior light assembly so that when air pressure changes are detected the alarm goes off. You could tape them over but don't expect your insurance to pay up if it gets nicked.

Alarm

The book says:- Turn the key to STOP then immediately to MAR and back to STOP. Then remove the key. The alarm LED on the instrument panel will light up for 2 seconds. Done. Pete

Re: Alarm

But once again your alarm is not set so if nicked no payout.

Re: Re: Alarm

Erm...........where is the alarm located?

Scotty

Re: Re: Alarm

Wrong! The alarm is set. The instructions only disable the movement sensors in the roof!

Re: Re: Re: Alarm

Re: Re: Re: Re: Alarm

While we are on the subject of alarms, what are the little red sensors on the side of each seat base, any ideas????????

Scotty

Re: Re: Alarm

@ Scotty

The little red light on the side of your seats, are not part of the alarm, but the lights to tell you when your heated seats are on.

You can turn them on & off by clicking the switch, that is situated on the front of your seat, near the center console. Sort of behind your left calf (drivers side)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Alarm

Heated seats. Switch under front of seat.

Re: Re: Re: Alarm

But your windows are open and part of the alarm disabled so NOT WRONG! If nicked, no payout.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Alarm

if you have a Mk2 you will not have the lead for the CD player. Fiat left them out of the Mk2's. if a Mk1 then its on the n/side of the boot
