How can I install seatbelts for rear seats in my doblo van?

I've recently installed seats into the rear of my van. They come with the middle seatbelt already set up, but i bought seperate belts for the other two. I've bolted the main body to where it goes, but the problem is, there is just a hole where I want to fix the top and bottom anchors to and I'm struggling to think of a way to fit them without welding a nut on! (apparently the car version has a factory fitted/welded nut to accept the belt anchor thread) The holes are approx 1 inch diameter. Dont really want to start opening up the frame or welding anything, so wondering if there is something similar to a rawl plug but shorter and fatter with a machined thread that i can use?!

Or any other suggestions?

In pre-seatbelt days, I got hold of a couple of racing harnesses for the rear seats. The two halves of the lap belt went under the seat back, the two shoulder belts went over the back & they all connected together with a karibiner.
Otherwise it's going to be welding the nuts to the framework time - although don't they generally put a strengthener bar behind the frame?

Ive used standard fiat seatbelts in the rear holders like you mention, even put two indentical seats in the back. exactly the same as the front. on a custom frame. the seat belt clips are ont he seats them selves! :slayer:

I'm looking to put some seats in the back of my doblo
Went to see the mpv to take it out but the seat is sat on a hump what my van don't have

Any suggestions how it can be done

His everyone, I hope someone can help. This question is regarding seatbelt mounting points in a formerly camper ban converted fiat Double 1.9 nmultijet 120) 2008/9 - 58 plate.

I have fitted 3 rear seats as currently it only has the driver and passenger seats. I have bought the seats and belts form eBay.
The issue I have is the rear seat belt mounts. I have located the holes for the M10 bolts for the lower and top fixed mounts. I cannot locate the hole for the belt retractor (there is a smaller bolt hole in roughly the correct position but this doesnt seem consistent with the bolts on the belts - arrow and question mark).

I think the person who did the conversion has cut / ground off the retractor mounts (please see pics).

So my questions are:
1) Have the mounting points been removed?
2) If not then where are they?
3)If they have then what are my options for seat belt firmament (welding I presume)

I may be inclined to re-do the camper conversion as I wasn’t happy with it - layout, electrics and quality.

I love the van so will keep it as a 2 seater micro camper if I need to .
