Technical "Holy gearbox"

Hi there you fruity marea owners...

Err,,,im a multipla owner actually and woz wondering if anyone could tell me if the gearbox on a 1.6 marea weekend, is the same type thats on a Brava/Bravo?????
Its my parents car, and for the past year the gearbox was getting noiser and noiser, so when he finaly checked it, there was a wee hole at the bottom of the gearbox!!
Any ideas you crazy fiat owners?? :worship:

Gearboxes across the Bravo\Brava amd Marea are all the same. I'm told the HGT Bravo has shorter ratios than the 20V equivalent Marea but other than that they are all the same.
