Oh, I paid 5995 for it but got VRI n 3 year warranty on it n some extras so I saved quiet a bit, plus part ex'd my 1.2 GP :) So only paid about 3k all together.

Ah thats good. Iv got the 1.4 but was looking for a tjet. Then i remembered iv already paid for 3 year servicing and stuff like that so might aswell get saving.

Cant wait though!
 
You should so get a T-jet now aha! They are so much fun :) test drive one then you'll realise you need it in your life now!! then use the money you save up to mod it :) I've got £700 being refunded from my old cars insurance that I paid in full, so I'm gonna use that to modify my T-jet, should get it in a week or so :)
 
I read my insurance policy and it said there is no refund if you have paid in full? thats if i wanted to switch. The insurance for a tjet now if i swap it will only be an extra £200 but my car must only be worth about £3000 now and i cant afford the difference if i p/x :(

I do want one now but then i think think wise. Then people like you make me want one more ;)
 
Gyoung87 - i havent got a link to them mate, i got the 4 bulbs off a friend for £20, they are just some HDI ones :S dunno what make, i just fitted them aha sorry..

sammclean23 - yeah i rang up my insurance and just asked how ide go about changing it, but they said they wouldnt insure me on a T-jet cuz of my age, so i said what about if i cancel, and the came back with a refund of all the months i havent used, which is fair to me :) and my insurance actualy dropped from a 1.2 to a T-jet, dunno how, probably just the companies.
 
Nooooo :) i think i dropped on with them tbf, i just saw them in a bag in his garage n said ide give him £20 for them haha.

yup :) best time to get one, lets hope i dont make a claim or i'll be in trouble hehe

Also can't believe you changed the fog bulbs straight away, I bought some when I first got my T-Jet (11 Months ago today, ha!) and I'm still too afraid to fit them!

I saw the code in one of their adverts in some newish type of 'fast car' magazine at work, and unfortunately i dont have that exact one, only ripped it out of the mag so it went in the bin and they were taken out on tuesday aha. Ill give the remaining magazines at work a good check over today for another one, some date back to like 2004 tho so dunno if they will be valid haha.

Still, with 14 euro shipping thats 32? so about £28, fair bit cheaper than anywhere els, but still be nice not to pay it lol.

Ps. i've even managed to get a date with the receptionist at the car dealership where i brought it from! shes gorgeous, so thought why not give it a shot :) let ya know how it goes tonight hehe.

quick update on the lights, friend who i got them off found the box's, they are 'HID 8000k' if that helps any :)
 
I think they maybe be mtec ones like I have, there not hid though but give the effect they are.

Arent 100%, he said they were Hid's but they are like really expensive, but yeah either way haha they are fitted now and look awesome so no worries :)

and as to the date thing last night... ':D' i only just got in from it a few minutes ago >.<
