Technical Hill Holder + Reversing lights

Hill holder Unavailable came on at the weekend. Scoured the threads and it looked as if the error was likely a clutch position sensor. so went to the garage to scan for codes and rather than the expected Clutch error we have a reversing light error? He tried bridging the reversing light but still nothing, I`ve checked the bulb all good.

He wants to set aside some time o try and figure out whats up, I noticed that the rear wash works but doesn`t auto come on in reverse. Would an error eg blown fuse trigger the hill holder?

Eventually got the car into the garage and they drew a blank on the reversing light bulb issue. They have however cleared the hill older issue which turned out to be a battery that was faulty. Whilst apparentlty having enough volts to start the car the hill holder needs more poweerrrrrr. It dropped below what it needed'

Now when weather gets better I need to track the volts back up the line. Any ideas?
