Technical Hill Holder Light

Hi I have read about other peoples problems on this subject

I just parked up on my street and the exclamation mark in a triangle with an arrow round it appeared and said 'hill holder unavailable'

I turned off and turned back on and it displays 'ASR disconnected' then says 'ASR connected' straight away and then the light comes on and says 'hill holder unavailable'

Is this the same problem with the switch under the brake pedal?
