Hi all
I've just joined the forum for a bit of advice on a tale of woe with our Fiat Multipla wheelchair conversion petrol engine from 2002.
Initially diagnostic equipment showed no fault and on the second failure showed a fault that COULD be related to the crank sensor.
It has conked out a couple of times in particularly hot weather - it will restart if left for several hours - and we have had our local mechanic out several times who has:
- checked spark plugs as all OK
- replaced crank sensor
- taken off petrol tank and pump and checked all OK
- sent ECU off for testing specifying it should be tested at high temperature and it came back OK
Hoping someone out there has a suggestion as to what the fault might be as we are running out of options!
Many thanks
