High pitched screeching when accelerating

Hi

I just wanted to get some advice on my car.

I have noticed that recently it has a very high pitched screeching sound when accelerating hard.

Any idea what this might be?

If it also happens when you first start up the car and then settles it will most probably be the fan belt slipping.

The belt will need to be replaced, it should increase in squealing when you accelerate harder if it is slipping.
