hi guys, i'm thinking about going down the route of HID for improved lighting,

has anyone else done this and if so, what would they reccomend????

already put more powerful bulbs in and they aint making any difference, the light is still rubbish!

would the HID's work along side angel eyes??

I have HID's in my mk1 punto sporting too, H1's 8000k, i got mine about a year ago now try www.autoperformanceparts.co.uk , thats is one of my friends own company, thats where i got mine a they are cheap, have a look mate :)!

i know what you mean....get all my parts from central motor parts in pembroke dock but the halford bulbs are excellent and they were doing a 2 for 1 offer...
seriously the mk1 headlights are useless; the gt ones will fit straight in just need to change the push on connectors ....cheapest and best solution

Try this place: http://www.bettercarlighting.co.uk no connection but they seem to have a good reputation.

I have ordered some items from this 'outfit'.............on the 20th October.
I have NOT received the parts, and have NOT had any answers to 3 e-mails asking where my order is????

They seem to have a good reputation.................really???can anyone enlighten me.Are they STILL there, and trading??

I'd like to know, as I ordered this stuff for my Panda after doing a search here on interior lighting and seeing your post ,Keith.

I got mine from http://www.hids4u.co.uk/. They are amazing guys, it's all made in-house and tested, you can phone them with any kind of enquiry and they are super helpful!

Also got an extra wiring loom (for my bike) made up to my spec by them :)

So would anyone advise on buying those xeon bulbs from ebay,

or halfords super bright bulbs

I should say for ( future searches) proper balance, that I have had the items I paid for . Seems they did not 'see' the order on line, But all is settled, and the LED interior lamp is fitted and works just fine.
A point I should make, You don't need to have an in-line resister for interior lights as the computer does not care about these lights if they detect a blown bulb or an LED lamp fitted.
