I had them as an option on my old golf and loved them. So much more light than halogen. They light up anything reflective from so far away. You can see signs miles before you are close enough to read them.
I absolutely think they are a major factor in road safety at night.
It's a pity Fiat don't list them as options. Then again they'd want most probably £600.
I got a set of bi-xenons from ebay. They are superb and totally recommended to everyone. I bought them from china, and they look exactly the same as the op's set

Did you manage to put the rubber bung things back on rear side of the lights? I didn't manage when I had mine in and moisture got in and showed on the light lense.

Yes. I cut a slit to get the wires through, and then 2 small holes for the wires in the slit to allow the slit to close.
I have to get a new rubber cap for one light though as the muppet working on my car at my local Fiat dealer forgot to put it back on when he finished working on it. He also didn't secure the battery but thats a whole other story.

Do you find they light up the road well? I found that although they light up signs and give off a great 'daylight' colour it misses an area infront of the car. As in it lights up the distance really well, and right infront of the bonnet, but there was a dark area about 10 feet infront of the car. Do you seem to get that problem?

Plus I think the standard lights on the GP are really impressive.
