Hgt pulling to 7krpm

Hi guys well i just got off phone to vega racing and they say they have never worked on it so im just wondering wether anybody else has a hgt that pulls to 7k as all my others dipped very noticibly at 6100rpm it cant have cams as it doesnt idle lumpy at all (my last hgt had them and was lumpy) i cant see any other issues.

Ive heard about this FC chip and that it raises limiter etc but never had first hand experience so wanted to know if anybody on here has.

I will be getting it RR'd at mod nats but just want to know why it keeps up with a pals ep3 ctr (3 runs last night each time side by side)

Ive had a few of these now and its bugging me lol.

Mine does this too but mine has a marea 20v gearbox in so maybe it's that?

I know this isn't what you asked but I've got a 1.6 16v and mine does.

I have got an FC performance chip and can indeed tell you it pulls futher, dont know how many cause my rev counter aint never worked haha!
Sounds like the FC chip though, just open the top of your ECU and it should say "FC performance" on the top of the chip!

Takes longer to go from a standstill to bouncing off the rev limiter haha, naw just feel's like it does. Doesn't feel half as restricted and seems to go on forever
