As Tom said.. no... JTD hubs are the same as 1.8

The springs are HGT tho... It's a bit of a mix and match.

It has the suspension as the HGT to cope with the engine weight... but has the brakes and discs of the 1.8

Think thats because the JTD shouldn't be as quick as the HGT...... yeah right!!!! ;)

Dont you know it Tommy WINK WINK,thanks guy,s
Oh,would it be possible to have brackets made,as they do for the brembo's??

Cheers Scotty

custom ones could be made, but is it worth the effort if to only upgrade to hgt brakes?

Well i was thinking it would be less cost than the brembo conversion, and with the right discs and pads,i think the HGT joby would be up to the job,i reckon.
How mutch do you reckon for a set of addopters to be made up???
Cheers Scotty

scotty... if it was me.. I'd do the rear disc conversion and fit green stuff brakes on the front.

The 1.8 brakes are well up to the job of stopping the car, plus they are vented too.

I think the amount of time and money to change them, you wont see any improvemenr that rear disc and good brake pads/ discs wouldn't give you... for less!

But it's up to you...
