HGT 155 Red Key (I Know this has been asked a lot but just to double check!)

Thans again for the advice from everyone with my other queries. I've located what seems to be a good Bravo 155 HGT, my only concern, and its quite a big concern is that the seller says he's pretty sure he only has the two blue keys.

This is a Mk2 bravo, and a few of the Mk2's that I've looked at have only had the blue keys where as all the Mk1s seem to have the red key.

Did fiat not provide red keys with the Mk2's or is this just a coincidence?

And as the car is about £1600, if the red key is necessary how much should I ask taken off the price?

ALL bravos, bravas and mareas had red keys.

Its only needed if you have to code a new blue key or in the very rare occasion your ECU goes totally to pot.

My hgt155,was a late one meaning after 2000 it had the red key otherwise i also would not of took the risk and bought it!

Bravo, why settle for less 1.8GT BRAVO

My HGT is a 1999 Mk2 and has the red key too..

Ah thanks. That's a bummer coz the car I was looking at seemed to be a real good one other than that. so unless he wants to knock off about £800 I'd best steer clear.

Red key should no longer be a problem, replacements are about £75 even if all keys are lost.
