the spare head is incase we couldnt get the other skimmed
righto spare head it is, i'll dig it out the back of my garage tomorrow 
i'll call or text on the way to decide meeting point. water pump and thermostat "should" be okay but it's good practice to replace anyway while in at them. not essential though unless they are broken.

the mpi 1.2 heads should be ok IFFFF one or the other DOESNOT or both DO have the cam phase sensor. it WONT run correct without it.
Cam phrase sensor is determined by the cam cover not the head. So switch the cover.

yeah i was only borrowing your spare head till i get tha last couple of bits to get the engine running in mpi again :then you can have your spi head back in as new condition as ive still got all the inlet manifolds and outlet manifold to go back together on my engine just really needing to finish my engine is injector loom and wire it in and a 2-1 downpipe
