Styling help!!!!!!!

hi iam a newbie with a 1995 punto 55 sx and theres a few questions i need anserering,

1 - what size alloys and tyres can i have put on without any arch modifications?

2 - where on earth can i find a bad boy bonnet and how much for?:bang:

3 - can an engine transfer be done and from what car?

16's would be best bet, 17's can be done but will slow you down a lot, and may have to cut the mud guards away.

Have a look in Ebay for Bad Boys, will require spraying tho. Some people sell them on here occasionally, check clasifieds for more info. Ebay may be best bet. Or get a garage to make you one, Buy a standard one, get them to convert it, spray it etc, and then sell yours.

Not worth doing a conversion for your model, You can fit a Sporting engine, GT engine in there. The amount of work and cost etc involved its easier to buy a GT or sporting.

thanks but what tyre spec do i need for 16 inch alloys ie with 15s you need 195/45/15

Depends, I used 195'45'16 on my 16" team dynamics, worked well, as its not to low profile to give you bump ride, but not to much rubber so it looks ****e.

Tyre profile is a preference,

thanks for that, ive heard its possible to have an engine swap to a 2 litre 20v bravo engine, do u think it can be done?

It is possable to get a 2.0 20v in there but it is a nightmare to get it in.
It has only been done about three or four times

To do this all fuel lines,brakes,suspension would need to be upgraded
You would need to by a fully qualified mechanic to work out how to get it in.

As mentioned it would be cheaper to get a GT 1.4 turbo or if you wanted to do a conversion put the 2.0 engine onto a GT

ive seen a mk1 punto with one of those fiat 5 cylinder engines in bloke had it done by profesionals took them 7 months to do i think. :worship:
