My sister has a 18 month old Bravo and it has been back to the dealers (Arnold Clarke)four times for the same intermittent problem and comes back the same as it went in.

It will gradually lose power until it stops altogether. If it is then switched off and then restarted it will be OK for a while, could be a hour, a day or aweek then it starts again. Is there anybody out there knows more than the dealers, PLEASE.

Me too

I too have the same problem in my Citroen Synergie. An y ideas??

Thanks.

Re: Me too

One solution is not taking it back to Arnold Clarke but taking it elsewhere. Read this website:

Try a better garage

Ask any friends or neighbours who they take their cars to. Main dealers dont need fantatstic mechanics, they make money from selling cars and tying you up with warrenties. Go to an idependent garage who doesnt sell cars, or only sells a few, and he needs to be good to keep the customers coming back.
After the warrenty is up, I never go to a main dealer, price are a rip off and often its only young lads diving into your pride and joy

Electrics

I'm not a mecchanic, but I've had a similar problem with a race car, not to the same extent though.
It would loose power, sometimes straight away sometimes not til the end of a day, but it was only a little bit (bout 5mph at the end of the straight).

I installed a complete new ignition system and it sorted it, still don't know what part of it was at fault but as it was fairly new I got it all replaced within the warranty.

Don't know if this is useful to you, but we all know what Fiats are like when it comes to electical things.
