Urgent help needed please!!!!!!

i have a fiat punto 1.2 and it has been flashing a sign which when u check the book it says it an injection system failure!!! now the car feels like its vibrating back and forth!

i have no idea what could be causing this ive taken it to the garage a couple times and everytime they diagnose sumthin else and it disappears for a little time and is now back again! im sick of spending money there i just wanna know whats wrong so it can be fixed does neone have ne ideas?

noone has mentioned this to me unfortunately my lack of knowledge when it comes to cars very much let me down as i belive garages and what they tell me hence this problem not being fixed and other stuff being replaced instead!

Hi, sorry you are having a nightmare

The 1.2 engine you have in your car has been around for years and years

When the garage looks at your car they plug it into a computer, if its not running very well the car tells the computer at the garage what's the matter, this I called a fault code, each fault code the car gives to the computer will be listed so the garage will know what needs replacing on the engine.

It sounds to me like it could be the coil packs as already suggested, these little packs are to the right of the engine on the top as you look at it, there are 2 of them. What they do is supply the spark to the spark plugs to make the engine run

If either of these is faulty the engine will cough and splutter.

How old is your car ? I suggest to save some money get some used coil packs from a car breakers yard, they are not difficult to replace and most car breakers will give you a guarantee on any parts they sell
