hi iv got a cinq 899cc engine and want to put a 1.2 8v punto engine in it any advice at all would be reli aprreciated thanks josh btw some really nyc cars on here

well the easiest thing to do would be get a sporting cinq because all you need to change is the engine, all wiring is exactly the same and you can keep the 1.1 ecu as it will correct it self for the 1.2. but other wise im not sure i think u might need to change some of the engine mounts, get ither a 1.1 sporting or 1.2 ecu n u might need the wireing loom but im not 100% sure so hope this helps.

go with a company called nfu mutual im 19 been driving since jan 09 n got my insurence for £380 a yr on a 1.1 cinq sporting.

But a 1242 is a modified car.

very gd point seems like my engine swap my be put on hold for while ill need a new sporting gearbox drive shaft gear stickengine bay loom and more

yh gd point insurence companys are not to keen on modified cars.
