Technical Help with parts ID

I have a Mark2 Punto and live on Corfu, Greece. On the driver's door - the part that stops the door from opening too far has broken. My local attempts to get it repaired have failed. I have been back to the garage 6 times. Could anyone tell me the name of this part or the part number, please, so that I can make an online search.

I have spent hours searching already and it is impossible if you don't know the name or part number.

Check strap it's called. How is it broken? It's easy enough to repair if just come off the door

If you look up the top of the forum we have eper

you can usually work your way to the part you want just by the graphics
have a play with it as its handy to know how to use and access

Thank you all so much - I will find it from the help above. Unfortunately, the part has actually snapped. The "hex" screws kept coming loose and then I took it in for service and when I collected it the part was broken.

I wouldn't trust the guy at Fiat ΚΙΝΗΣΗ in Kerkyra. I went there for a small air-conditioning drain pipe last year. He told me it wasn't available seperately and that I had to buy the complete air-conditioning unit for 1700 EUR.

I printed the page from ePER to show him. He ordered the pipe for 7 EUR.

Thanks Davren. I have been trying to source the part in the UK but things take ages to get here. After getting the info from the site and following your advice, I have printed it and will take it to the dealers in town tomorrow.
