hi, I have a fiat punto active sport 1.2 54 plate, so don't know if its a mk2 or 1, yesterday at an island went to pull off there was a slight noise, and the gearstick went loose, just moving back and forth, stuck in 2nd gear I think, I managed to get home and that's it, any ideas? would it be the linkage pin thing come out, so linkage is not connected, or would it be more sinister (gearbox 
), not car savvy, it went into garage last week to have central exhaust done and they did the back box too, (much to my shock as it wasn't quoted or said it was needed), anyway help much appreciated and a rough idea how much it would cost
