Sorry to post this here, but in the Multipla lounge it is simply being ignored and unanswered, which means car still on ramps and unuseable!
whilst replacing the glow plugs in my partners Uglipla, 2004 115 jtd, i removed the egr valve for better access, cleaning and inspection, and noticed this pipe hanging free. (Picture1)
it T's straight into the main hose off the vac pump, but i can't find a diagram of hose or pipe routing to give me a hint at where it should go or belong.
it is heat insulated and its rigid plastic shape looks natural to route in-between the inlet manifold and egr up-pipe, but to what?
digging a little further behind the engine i also found this pipe disconnected, and two open ports on the electrical connected device i believe is/could be the boost solenoid control valve
looking around google for pictures, i suspect the braided pipe i have hold of (picture 2) should fit to the vacant spout pointing to the drivers/offside of the car.
but that still leaves me the rigid plastic pipe to find a home for?
should that have a rubber section to join it to the vacant spout pointing back towards the bulkhead?
Eper has been less than useful trying to find pipe routing and device locations and connections, so any help would be greatly appreciated
