sounds like it siezing up,there usually easy to turn,go buy a new one just incase it gets stuck for good just when ur empty and need to fill up

it case of turn it to the left it locks it then turn it to right then it keeps on spinning

Yeah, I know its kinda stupid.
You know what you can do? Everytime fill it to the top so you wont have to open it that often.

My missus has the same problem, not so much with the bravo but the brava we had she could never get the fuel cap off.

Hold the cap and turn the key clock wise. You may need to turn the cap a little until it is released. Then to replace you have to sort of screw it in clockwise first til it starts to click, then turn the key anti clockwise whilst holding the cap.

that worked cheers mate..wierd thingwas when i got it nearly off a sec ago tons of fumes came our like when u take the cap off a coke bottle :S

That's because it's a closed and pressurised system chap. perfectly normal and usually and it's most evident when the tank is low in warm weather.

ah right no probs.. bloody stunk lol it sprayed on me but im used to the smell since i work in petrol station thanks for the info chaps..hopefull see some of you soon on a meet up
