hi, in the last couple days, when i go to start my bravo in the mornings or if i have left it for a few hours, it kicks out loads of white smoke(oil im guesing) it then clears after a while. anyone had this before? could it be one of the valves not sealing or somthing??

advise please!!

regards richard

It's getting colder chap. Sounds quite normal as long as it goes away once it's warmed up.

Re: really?

If its white its just water. Oil smoke hangs about in the air for a long time.

Re: really?

Re: really?

when tom says water I dont think he means water from the coolant tank its moisture built up in the exhaust and engine from condensation and generally humidity of air. If your engine was injecting coolant into exhaust and cylinders I would be worried!!

Re: really?

And the fact that burning petrol produces water as well as carbon dioxide.

Re: really?

he means its steam and watervapour, coming from the exaust. any water or condensation or anything up there gets hot and comes out like smoke :)
