The Panda Nut
Nutty about Pandas Infected by Panda virus and OPD
Our Panda did similar. It was fixed by removing and cleaning the boot handle and cleanoing the pivot each side. The pivot was affected by fine road dust stopping its final little bit of movement and causing the handke not to seat as it should. It looked as if it was where it should be but pressing it down revealed it wasnt sitting where it should when closed. The tiny amount of loss of movement made it difficult to identify at first.
