General Help Removal of rear seat backrest 1967 600D

Hi my first time on this forum in fact any forum I have recently purchased a 1967 Fiat 600D and would like to know how to remove rear seat backrest It piviots but can’t see how to release to remove Any help appreciated Have looked in genuine Fiat 600D workshop manual which has no mention of seats at all and can’t find anything on internet
Bought new seat covers to fit so need to remove backrest to remove old seat cover and replace with new

Mine has been out long enough that I don't remember how I got it out, but here are pictures of the stud coming out of the side wall and the hole in the side of the back rest. There are studs and holes on both sides, so the back rest pivots on them. Neither stud protrudes from the wall more than a half inch. My guess it's just a matter of wedging the backrest off of the stud one side by pushing it toward the other.
