General 1966 Fiat 600D Vin help.

Can anyone direct me to somewhere that I can translate this VIN?

"100E2116510"

I am told this is an Argentina built 600d from 1966.

It has a pile of examples of folks looking for the same info and may give you some clues.

My 1960 600 has the vin 100*665274. I believe this means it’s an early 1960 (before the switch over to the 600D). It does not have an ‘e’ in the number.

Hi, I have a 1966 Fiat 600, built in Argentina; the metal tag in the engine compartment gives information regarding the engine, chassis, etc. The chassis number on mine is 100E2118520, so my uneducated guess is that this was built after the one you're asking about. The VIN is a different number, not similar to US VIN's, but car was licensed in US without any problem.
By the way, I'm thinking of listing it for sale on this forum.
