Hi all, daft question but if the injector light stays on(key code light goes out) while cranking and the bugger wont start is it the phase sensor or something else?
The fuel pump is working fine and the crank sensor has been replaced! Just out of curiosity though what value should the volt meter be reading when testing the crank sensor?? I got 860 ohms. Cheers guys

Hi bud cheers for that!! All very head scratching! Have changed my crank sensor still no difference but my injector light stays on constantly! Cam sensor next eh lol

No not yet! Trying to fix myself! Seeing if there are some people with/had same problems! I have measured resistance through crank sensor on car the on 2 spare others and 1 is from an engine I know runs!
I'm doing the cam sensor next as all things point to this!
I'll post up my findings!

The cam sensor is what Sven said imitially but after purchasing one I noticed that it looks like it is quite a major job as it is behind the cam belt.

Hi bud, unfortuantely it has to be done!! I'll let you know how I get on!

Out of interest, have you replaced your crank sensor or had codes read?

Where are you based?

I am just outside peterborough. Took the car to a local garage to get diagnosed but they couldn't get their machine to talk to it. Will take it to Fiat as soon as I can get the car away from the son.

They had the converter. Plugged it in but no communication.

was gona say that myself..strange how they couldnt read it.
