Help Please

All I have a 1.4SX Bravo on a M plate, yesterday I went through some surface water on the road and a few seconds later the car died on me. The car is turning over but just not kicking in. All the electrics work i.e. lights, windows etc.

Does anyone have any Ideas before I take it to the dealership and spend a small fortune.

Could be just damp/wet spark plugs...

Give everything a spray with some sort of damp start and you should be fine...

But i wouldn't remove the plugs, the old man did on his old escort and of course the water went into the head...not nice...lol

Had a sim' problem with my Marea, I like driving thru puddles, anyway car ran like a dog for two or three days even had engine light on then it all stopped one day never had a prob' since.
However my car lost the undertray a while back, so I don't drive thru puddles anymore.!!
Leave a day or so and see if it clears up/dries out.
