General HELP Please

I purhased my very much loved 1998 Fiat Marea Weekend back in December, and it passed the MOT first time !! But since then I have losed my dipped beam, side lights and main beam still work. I have read the forum and noticed a few people have had problems with this, and people have said to replace the stalks on the steering column. If this needs to be done can somebody please tell me how to remove the steering wheel as it has the air bag in the middle. Or is there any other solution to the problem.

I doubt that you need remove the wheel, only the shroud around the column. I'm not certain how this is done on the Marea as I have never looked at mine, but on most cars it is a matter of a few screws on the underside.

Once the shroud is off, it should become apparent how to remove the stalks.

I assume you have checked the bulbs first?

The other day I noticed the passenger side dipped beam out so fitted a new bulb. When I turned the lights on to check it the drivers side, which had been working two minutes earlier, failed also.
