hi.. my car made a couple of crunching noises also the car jumped at this time. now the car wont move anywhere. engine runs fine. i put it in gear and let the clutch up all i hear is grinding. any suggestions?
well i hate to say and you probably dont want to hear it but i agree with the other people that have posted its gonna be your clutch , if its the thrust bearing thats gone you may as well put a whole new clutch kit in , false economy not to do the whole thing.
kool... well im hoping its the clutch which is cheaper than a gearbox which i fort it was. as im a student its quite expensve to run a car let alone buy a new gearbox
You could check that the driveshafts are ok.clutch could be ok if when you put it in gear lift the bonnet and see if the drive shafts are spinning. If so, a driveshaft will need replacing
