Help needed re: my Fiat Bravo's paint

I have a '97 Bravo 1.8 HLX. There's a nasty scratch on it that I want to touch up, but I can't find information about the paint. Halfords doesn't have the right touch-up colour.

It's a kind of metallic 'dirty sky blue', which looks dull sometimes, but really amazing when the light catches it. It's not the silver colour, and it's not the light green metallic.

Anyone got any ideas?
Anyone know how I can find a paint code?
Anyone know where I could get a touch-up kit?

Many thanks :)

Open up your boot and you will see a label stuck on the boot lid itself. The label should reveal all :)

take it to the dealer, they will tell you the colour, and maybe supply a touch up stick too??

How bad is the scratch? i had a very long but minor scratch down my car, i bought some turtlewax safe cut from h**fords and it worked a treat!

thanks :)

Thanks very much! :) Had a look. It says:

Azzurro Zenith SM Met MS VR

Code 394/A

Any ideas where I can get a touch-up kit?

Thanks :)

394

394 is Metallic Zenith Light Blue - rare to be honest! It was dropped after '99 but you may get lucky from a dealer.

Halfords helped me!

I'd try Halfords again m8, my helpful local Halfords didn't have a touch up kit but they mixed the paint up for me and took the other bits out of a touch up kit (primer, laquer and funny fibre glass sticks) and just charged me for the pot of paint they mixed which was about a fiver! I've yet to perfect the paining in stone chips though, harder than it looks!

Re: Halfords helped me!

The bigger halfords shops (warehouse-y ones) mix paints (and I think touch-up sticks) for you. Just tell them the code inside the boot lid and that it's a Fiat.
