Insurance is daft.

My Picasso has just about every option that was available on the Citroen list, but because they were all official Citroen options and not aftermarket, the insurance was the same as the standard model with no options added.

But on my wife's car we swap fer stereo from Radio cassette to Radio CD, and because it was an aftermarket "modification" we were stung on the insurance. Totally silly as the actual stereo we put in was on the original options list for her car anyway.

Elephant charged me a whopping £9 extra for Abarth Springs a Forge braces :slayer:

when i took out my policy with admiral when i was 19 they charged me £9 to add my remap. did break the bank!

to add my tints, suspension, induction, remap and some other bits was like an extra £150 quid in total iirc.
