i got a 2001 y reg punto 1.2 8v go. it has a 100w sub already installed, how hard and if possible would it be to install another sub and amp??

Tell your mate to go jump off a bridge
Its not that difficult at all have you ever fitted an after market amp before.
What Head Unit do you have as the only problem that i can think that your friend means is that you want to use a standard HU.

What fusion sub and amp was it that you were going to get then we can tell you weather to buy it or not.

we took the sub out, unscremed the unit, saw al the wirs in there and he said something like you cant connect 1. nah i havent fitted a amp, but my other mate can fit it all in and that. ermm its one from halfords it just about 100 quid, and comes with amp, i just really want a crystel clear sound, with a good amount of basss lol!

What you mean this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/...uctId_506219_langId_-1_categoryId_165748#dtab
I would steer clear you can get a lot better for similar money it may look flashy but you can get better.

for the money that is what i would recommend if you just want a sub, but i would say that you wont get crystal clear sound without upgrading and amping the front speakers so you may be better off geting a 4 channel amp so that you have this option at a later date or now if you have the $ :D

Can somebody help me with the last link as it says that the sub is DVC wired to 2ohms so would the amp be stable at 2ohm's bridged on the 2 channels if so then the power is more likely to be around the 350w RMS mark.
Edit wired at 4ohm. but i would imagine you could change that if the amp is stable.

Get in contact with these guys, tell them Jon(east upper gooner) from puntomk2 sent you, they will sort you out.

The sub is getting rave reviews on talk audio at the moment, the box is also a custom made box from John at BFUK in the midlands who is one of the last custon box builders in the UK.

That is an amazing deal if fusion can reproduce similar quality to JBL.

Fusion are good as long as you dont buy the sh!t they produce for halfrauds and get there proper stuff like automotives sell.

I have heard some of there stuff but that was in a shop you just cant compare something running off a 240v wall to how good it will sound in the car but yeah it did sound alright.
Until i am rich i dont think that i would buy brand new again but that deal is pretty close to being tempting if that was the sort of thing that i am looking for.
