Hi,
I have an IBM Server with a 73GB SCSI drive installed. It needed extra storage so I have installed 2 x 500GB IDE HDD. Now it won't always boot....
If I boot the server with just the SCSI drive attached then it will load the OS fine. If I plug in 1 of the IDE's it will work fine. If I plug both of the IDE HDD's in then it will boot up the first time but when restarted it doesn't boot.
It just stays on a black screen with a flashing cursor at the top.
Anyone got any ideas, I seem to be going in circles at the moment!!
