Help need with server!

Hi,

I have an IBM Server with a 73GB SCSI drive installed. It needed extra storage so I have installed 2 x 500GB IDE HDD. Now it won't always boot....

If I boot the server with just the SCSI drive attached then it will load the OS fine. If I plug in 1 of the IDE's it will work fine. If I plug both of the IDE HDD's in then it will boot up the first time but when restarted it doesn't boot. It just stays on a black screen with a flashing cursor at the top.

Anyone got any ideas, I seem to be going in circles at the moment!!

try plugging one of the IDE drives in, but just into the power supply. See if it does the same, might be the PSU isn't up to it.
