I have a 2004 54 REG 1.4 Stilo 5dr Hatch and I need to replace both front headlamps. I am being offered headlamps from a 2002 52 Reg Fiat Stilo 2.4 20V Abarth 3dr hatch

Will they fit ??

Cheers

Thanks Davren, are we talking big visible gaps or small unnoticeable ones ? :)

Cheers

Didn't pass the MOT, supposedly they are not able to be adjusted and need to be replaced ... wonder if it is true :)
Cheers

They are just saying that they are not able to adjust it, not even manually ...

Should be manually, but sounds like motors have failed if not electronically (and I think this is tested for now iirc).

Replacements car be purchased and fitted fairly easily, loads of info in the Stilo section (y) :)

They are saying I need to replace both headlamps... is that what you are referring to ?

You need to find out whether it's the electric or mechanical adjustment that isn't working.

Assuming you don't have original HID Xenon headlamps, the electrical adjustment is done via the headlamp adjusting switches on the MODE panel at the right of the dashboard.

Mechanical adjustment on both HID Xenon and normal filament bulb headlamps is done by 2 white nylon adjuster screws on the back of each headlamp. These screw often seize but can usually be freed off.
