General HELP - How to tighten handbreak cable on a Mk1 97 Punto SX

MOT on monday, and i need to tighten the handbreak as its about 7 clicks and want to get that down to 4 for the MOT. Anyone know how to do this, have jacks etc, but i know that you can tighten a Mk2 and a Bravo's from the inside! So can you do the same for a Punto Mk1???

Im not a member on there.

you need to remove the handbrake trim.

Pull the handbrake up 3 clicks, then use a spanner to hold the lock nut and turn the adjustment screw to tension the draw bar. then let off handbrake and check operation.

(obv you need to do this on the flat, chock front wheels etc)
