Problem sorted!!
thanks everyone for your help. I got the reconditioned unit and it works a treat.
I still have another problem, the reason why the ECU went ws becouse the heater matrix system was leaking and still is! luckily i covered my ecu in plastic before replacing but need to sort this problem out.
i have posted a new topic for peeps to help.
