Re: Digital Camera

Thanks Ash. Can install OK but keep getting "The disk in drive A is not formatted" when I try to view the photos. I know th disk is OK as it's working on other peoples PCs.

Anyone help?

re

is this some software to go with the camera?

i havent done loads, but the 3/4 digital camera's i have helped peopel with all just plug into the usb port then get detected as a usb mass storage device? then you can browse straight to photo's and use any bit of software to edit/print them etc?

Its a USB plug and play I presume?

If I am thinking correctly, then when you plug something in, it conflicts with your cd drive (usually drive D)

Try this:

Plug it in, let it pick up, then Right-click My COmputer, Manage, Disk Management (second from bottom in the left hand pane, Right click on the digi camera, change drive letters and paths, edit the drive letter to a currently free letter, apply, OK.

Hopefully this will solve this particular problem.

Let me know how you go.

Not via USB. Flash Path is like a floppy disc that you put the flash card into and then into the floppy drive. When I click on the floppy drive it gives me the error message.

may bring my laptop along on Sunday to show you what I mean.

i got a card reader off ebuyer for a fiver, may be easier than that wierd thing of yours

Yes, get a USB card reader, or if it's your laptop, you could even get a PCMCIA card reader, but USB will probably be cheaper :)
