Technical Help! Car wont start!!!

I havent drove my car in nearly a week as its been sold...anyway i come to give it one last go this evening as its going tomorrow and it wont start!!

i just get a ticking noise from under the bonnet. Interior lights and radio works but its like the battery is dead.

Tried jump leads on from my mrs's nissan micra and still doesnt seem to like it. Just ticks away....

anyone got any advice? am i jumping it wrong?

we have home start on the breakdown cover but its £40 excess for a home call out!!

i doubt the micra is powerfull enough to start it, i know the gf's saxo struggles with the punto. try jumping it off a diesel.

turn car on, then turn lights on, radio on and then indicators, if the lights etc dim then it's def the battery.

Most online battery sites offer next day delivery.
