Technical HELP!!!!!!!!! Anybody??????

Hello everyone. My 1100 cinc is driving me mad:bang: as it wont start since i replaced one coil pack. I got sparks, got fuel, camshft turns and timings line up but still wont fire. leads are in the right order, replaced spark plugs, got 2.3 volts on the crank sensor wires( 3 wire sensor) and 600 ohms resistances but still no luck. Is it an ECU problem or something simple? Am I missing something? Help anybody please!!!!!!!!!

600 ohm reistance is not right is it On all the ones i've messed with..fiat cinq, sei, panda 100hp, ford ka....they are all in the otder of 1000-1200 ohm at room temp.

Check all connectors and earths. Are the feeds from the ecu to coils in the right order?
Did you disconnect the battery and now it's red key time (if it's that model)?
Maybe the coil was not at fault but the crank sensor?

Yes all connections are ok. ill try replacing the sensor as the resistsnce is a bit low. Hopefully it'll work. thanks

hello Kristian. Tried fitting a new sensor with the right resistance(1250 ohms) but still no luck. Anybody knows the voltage readings on the sensor wires as I'm getting 2.3 volts ?. Im being drawn to blaming the ECU.

I had some wierd problems with a new coil pack a few months back. Some dodgy cheap ones about! Probably from china or something.

Mine was fine until you needed some power to pull onto a roundabout or something. then it would splutter and lose power... a bit dodgy!

I then got a champion coil pack - problem solved!
